Volunteers from the Brookville Chapter worked on July 30, 2005 for this event, the Jefferson County Annual Youth Field Day. Sponsored by the local community in Reynoldsville, PA.  There were different stations set-up throughout the park such as Canoe Safety (You can see from the photos), target shooting, archery, and other outdoor recreations. 

 

At the DU booth the kids learned about how wetlands work in nature,  the importance of habitat and they also had a chance to identify ducks at a distance.  Each attendee received a DU ID poster, Puddler magazine and GreenWing stickers.  Approximately 70 youths attended the event.
